General Information (West Niagara Baseball)

PrintGeneral Information
West Niagara was given the territorial rights to the Grimsby area in 2016.  We offer programs for both REP and HOUSE League players to kids ages 3-18. Our Rally Cap players use a tee, Rookie Ball hits from a pitching machine,  and our Mosquito and older is player pitch.

Since starting up in 2016 we have been forced to speak up against some inappropriate actions to protected the kids in the Grimsby area (and the rest of the region) from bullies and abusive actions, which have also included being subject to threats of violence.

Some of the  issues that have developed are the improper use of our members information or breach of privacy by other organizations (we have collect the emails and statements from multiple members).  The Town of Grimsby is aware of this, but have yet to formally address the situation.

We continue to work toward a summer program that will enable the youth in our community to enjoy the game of baseball in a safe and welcoming environment.

Rally Cap (Age 3-5)

The Rally Cap Program is an initiative to enhance players' first experience with the game. The program helps teams teach players the five FUNdamentals of baseball in a fun and safe environment. Players have the opportunity to perform different tasks in order to earn a coloured Rally Cap. Cap colours correspond with various levels of achievement.
